The PAGAN 948 is the first new building from our recently founded boat yard Pagan Boats ApS in Svendborg, Denmark. The 948 is a resilient work boat with a high speed potential.

It is designed by Hands & Brains with a strong emphasis on low fuel consumption and high crew comfort.

  

The "clean" layout with a number of fixing points allows flexibility in outfitting and deployment. The vessel is a study in "out of the box thinking". A covered version will be offered though.

The main propulsion system comprises a large turbo diesel, a two step reduction gear box and an articulated surface drive. The hull is double stepped to reduce the wetted surface area at speed and hence suitable for long distance, high speed patrol operations. The 948 type is aimed at clients within the commercial and military segments.

  

 

Pagan Boats ApS is owned by Peder Rasmussen (50%) and Lars Normann Olsen (50%).

We expect the 948 to be ready for commercial presentation by october 2010. News will be posted on www.PaganBoats.dk
