Replacement side- and deck structures

The high speed ferry, Gotlandia II, was severely damaged in a ship to ship collision in dense fog. The large repair project was contracted to Öresundsvarvet in Landskrona, Sweden.

Hands & Brains was commisioned to reconstruct the damaged side and deck structures including the complex boarding/escape region. The replacement sections are high strength aluminium and to a large extent produced from prefabricated extrusion panels after our NC cutting information, shop drawings and specifications.
